While looking through my photos I noticed a blue tit sitting on a twig in a somewhat weird way. Checking closer I noticed that her right foot seemed not to move anymore.
I’ll put this study on how this cute little sweetie manages its handicap in a separate chronological gallery (link below). Reviewing my earlier images of that day I found her again (see above) and noticed that she was pretty tough in defending her spot, too:
